Salam and Hi everyone!
We warmly invite you to a special reading with Noura Salahaldeen, co-editor of the new book Naseej: Life-Weavings of Palestine.
The book is a collection of essays, short stories, interviews, poems, and visual art that celebrates the rich tapestry of culture, history, and life in Palestine. It explores not only loss and oppression but also the many invisible connections that exist through language, religious and ethnic diversity, and the diaspora.
Originally from Jerusalem, Noura researches the Palestinian African community under colonial rule and in the diaspora. Her perspective is both personal and academic, bringing visibility to stories and voices that are often overlooked.
